Mayor Bowser Awards $9.3 Million in Grants to Support Afterschool Programs for District Youth

(Washington, DC) – Today, Mayor Muriel Bowser awarded $9.38 million to 92 non-profit organizations that support more than 11,000 youth in the District with access to quality out-of-school time (OST) programming. The funding will be awarded from the Office of Out of School Time Grants and Youth Outcomes (OST Office) for Fiscal Year 2021. Programs will provide a variety of virtual and in-person environments. All grantees are expected to resume in-person programming when health conditions and local guidance permits.
