(Washington, DC) – In celebration of National Women’s Health Week, Mayor Muriel Bowser announced that this year’s National Maternal and Infant Health Summit will take place on Tuesday, September 19. Mayor Bowser launched the annual National Maternal and Infant Health Summit in 2018 as an opportunity to bring together elected officials, health experts, and community members to have a focused conversation regarding perinatal health and racial disparities in birth outcomes.
