Mayor Bowser and MPD to Announce Tracking Tag Distribution Program

(Washington, DC) – On Wednesday, November 1 at 11 am, Mayor Muriel Bowser and the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) will announce a pilot program to provide District drivers in selected areas with free digital tracking tags for their vehicles. These tracking tags will assist MPD in locating and recovering missing or stolen vehicles and holding accountable those who steal them.
