Mayor Bowser Announces $61.3 Million Federal Investment in District Facilities

(Washington, DC) – Today, Mayor Muriel Bowser announced the U.S. Treasury Department has awarded $61.3 million from the American Rescue Plan Act’s (ARPA) Capital Projects Fund to support the construction of community facilities across the District. The Capital Projects Fund was designed to fund high-quality modern infrastructure that enhances Americans’ ability to work, learn, and stay healthy, especially in low- and moderate-income communities.
