(Washington, DC) – Today, Mayor Muriel Bowser announced she has authorized the use of local funds to ensure Washingtonians enrolled in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and Women, Infants, and Children Program (WIC) receive their November benefits despite the ongoing federal government shutdown.
