(Washington, DC) – On Monday, June 23 at 11 am, Mayor Muriel Bowser will officially kick off the 2025 Mayor Marion S. Barry Summer Youth Employment Program (MBSYEP). The iconic program, now in its 46th year, is one of the largest and longest-running summer youth employment programs in the nation, offering critical career development opportunities for District youth and ensuring that they are productively engaged throughout the summer months.
