Mayor Bowser to Cut Ribbon and Reopen the Public Safety Communications Center

(Washington, DC) – On Wednesday, June 11 at 12 pm, Mayor Muriel Bowser will cut the ribbon on the newly reopened Public Safety Communications Center (PSCC) in Ward 1. The PSCC serves as OUC’s secondary operations site and plays a critical role in ensuring continuity and resilience across the District’s 911 and 311 systems. The modernized facility expands capacity, enhances technology, and improves infrastructure to better support emergency and non-emergency communications.
